What’s the difference between Zillow and Redfin? Which is the best valuation tool? I did a lot of analysis on multiple properties in several areas of the west side, and I found that Zillow tends to give properties a much higher valuation than Redfin.
The difference between them was between 10% and 20%. In general, I think Zillow is a little more accurate in terms of homes’ market value. Redfin tends to be 10% to 20% under market value when valuating a property, which is a huge deficit.
