We’re seeing a pretty unusual trend in the market when it comes to cash buyers. The percentage of cash buyers in the market has risen from about 20% last year to nearly a third (33%) of all buyers nationwide.

A lot of this has to do with the recent home appreciation we’ve seen. In some areas, we see a majority of the buyers paying in cash. In the L.A. market, approximately 40% of all buyers are cash buyers.
