California is one of the only states that doesn’t currently allow remote online notarizations. A RON makes the closing process much simpler. Instead of having to meet with a notary to sign mortgage documents, loan documents, and grant deeds, it can all be done remotely.

From 2019 to 2020, the number of online notarizations increased by 547%. Experts are predicting that online notarizations will be available in every state this year. This will save people a lot of time, and they won’t need to meet in person.
